What is Feeling Freedom?

Feeling Freedom is a 12-week programme designed specifically for you - the family member who's been living with someone else's addiction. While everyone focuses on your loved one's recovery, this programme recognises a truth often overlooked: you need healing too. Years of anxiety, mistrust, and putting yourself last have taken their toll. This is your safe space to finally focus on your own recovery journey.

Through weekly group sessions with others who truly understand, you'll learn practical tools to manage anxiety, rebuild trust, and set healthy boundaries without guilt. You'll rediscover who you are beyond this struggle and find peace that doesn't depend on someone else's choices. With 100% of participants reporting improved relationship boundaries and 80% experiencing significantly better mental and emotional wellbeing, this programme transforms lives. Your healing starts here.

Your Journey To Feeling Freedom

Is Feeling Freedom Right for Me?

Let's be honest about where you are right now.

You're exhausted from years of managing someone else's addiction. Whether they've been sober for 15 years or are still using, you're stuck in old patterns - walking on eggshells, feeling resentful, unable to trust. You've become an expert at reading others’ moods but have forgotten how to read your own needs.

This programme is for you if:

  • You're ready to stop living in "crisis mode" - even when there's no crisis
  • You're tired of putting yourself third (after the addiction and your loved ones)
  • You recognise that their recovery hasn't magically fixed your anxiety
  • You're willing to look at your own patterns, not just theirs
  • You can commit to showing up for yourself for 12 weeks

This isn't for you if:

  • You're looking for tips on how to "fix" your loved one
  • You want someone to tell you it's all their fault
  • You're not ready to examine your own role in the family dynamic
  • You can't commit to weekly sessions and homework

Here's what 12 weeks can change:

Week 1: You'll realise you're not alone in this struggle

Week 3: You'll start to learn how to address your unmet needs

Week 6: You'll understand the invisible patterns keeping you stuck

Week 8: You'll stop checking their mood before living your day

Week 10: You'll process the grief you've been carrying alone

Week 12: You'll have a clear plan for moving forward - whatever their recovery looks like

The work isn't easy. You'll face grief you've been avoiding. You'll address the guilt which has kept you from feeling free. But you'll also discover that healing is possible - whether they're sober or not.

The real question isn't whether they're ready. It's whether you are.

Why She Created Feeling Freedom:

"I was the consummate coper - managing someone else's addiction while losing myself. When I finally asked for help, everything changed. Through sharing my story with others who understood, I discovered my values, set boundaries, and learned my happiness wasn't dependent on my loved one's choices.

It took me years to find my way through the emotional turmoil. I don't want it to take you years.

The Feeling Freedom programme combines what I learned personally with professional training to create a direct path to healing. I know what it feels like to stare into that void - and I've learned it's not about waiting for a safety net, but growing your own wings."

There is life beyond someone else's addiction.

Your Story Doesn't End With Their Addiction

You've spent years believing your peace depends on their recovery. But here's the truth: your healing can begin today, regardless of where they are in their journey. Feeling Freedom isn't about learning to cope better with chaos - it's about discovering you deserve calm. In 12 weeks, you'll transform from someone who merely survives each day to someone who actually lives. Because the person you've been waiting to become? They've been waiting for you too.

Joining Feeling Freedom will help you hit these transformational goals

  • Move from isolation to connection
  • Replace self-medication with busyness and control with healthy coping
  • Develop emotional regulation
  • Establish safety through boundaries
  • Process grief and loss
  • Rebuild trust (in self and others)
  • Rediscover personal identity
  • Find peace independent of loved one's recovery
